The Super Bowl season is finally here and we have a lot to look forward to! After one of the most interesting NFL seasons in history, we will witness a clash of the titans. On Sunday, 13 the Rams and the Bengals will write new pages in Super Bowl history.
These two couldn’t be more different yet one thing is certain – they both defied all the odds and made their mark. But the best part is yet to come.
When we speak about the odds we can’t help but skip the part about super bowl betting odds. Who will be the winner and who would you place your bet on – the Cincinnati Bengals who surprised everyone and made their mark in history after 8 playoff losses. The Rams on other hand won the Super Bowl back in 1999 – so it will be great if the history repeats! Seems like The Rams are favorites for now!

- The Rams are favored to beat The Bengals, this is their fifth appearance in the Super Bowl.
- McVay and Zac Taylor, coaches of both teams are setting their own record – they are the two youngest coaches in SuperBowl history.
Where and when is the Super Bowl this Year?
To repeat everything once again won’t hurt: Super Bowl 2022 will take place at SoFi Stadium on Sunday, 13 February. SoFi Stadium is a top-notch entertainment complex neatly located in Inglewood, California. It is 3 miles away from Los Angeles International Airport.
This year’s things are a bit different since the NFL has adopted a different game schedule. It was pushed for one week and it collided with Bejing Winter Olympics – but it is great since we have two spectacles in one year!
The Super Bowl LV is about to kick off approximately at 6:30 p.m. ET, or 5:30 p.m. Central, 4:30 p.m. Mountain and 3:30 p.m. PT.
Who will take the Spotlight and Sing the National Anthem?
This year The NFL announced that Mickey Guyton will have the honor to perform the national anthem at Super Bowl. Some honorable mentions from the previous years that were proudly singing ‘’The Star Spangled Banner include Lady Gaga, Demi Lovato, Alicia Keys, Luke Bryan, Gladys Knight, and Whitney Houston.
To warm up the audience before the anthem and the game, Jhené Aiko will sing the song ‘’America is beautiful’’. And when it comes to halftime… that is also spectacular.
Who is Playing Super Bowl Halftime 2022?
Well, this Super Bowl has a lot to offer to hip hop fans. During halftime, we will have a chance to listen to nothing less but hip-hop legends..Dr. Dre is leading a super team of hip-hop legends and his longtime collaborators!
You will have a chance to listen to legends like Eminem, Mary J Blige, Snoop Dogg, and Kendrick Lamar.
What About health and Safety Protocols in the Stadium?
The SoFi Stadium has a capacity for 70 000+ people but we mustn’t forget that the pandemic is still going on, no matter how hyped we are.
So safety first!
Some general rules for Super Bowl look like this:
- All attendees 2+ need to have a negative PCR test 48 hours before the game start, a negative antigen test 24 hours prior, or proof of the COVID-19 vaccination. It is important to mention that test had to have your name and date of testing since the home COVID-19 test won’t be accepted.
- All attendees over 18 will be required to display their IDs and verify their identity.
- Regardless of the vaccination status, all attendees need to wear a face covering. You can take off your mask if you are actively eating/drinking.
