Some of the most mindless fun is scrolling through your phone and deciding what games to play. Today, we are going to talk about a few games that are free on the App Store on your iPhone or Android and what makes them entertaining, from mind games to just plain out silly games that can keep you busy and kill some time.
There are a lot of different apps that do a lot of different things, and if one is making sure you are getting some great odds World Series, you are in luck. Let’s talk about some free leisure apps to get some entertainment.
Let It Rain
Sometimes you are trying to just turn off your mind and play something that is just plain dumb. Enter Let It Rain. All the game consists of is a wad of cash, and you have to click it to add to your account. The more money you have, the bigger you can make the bills and continue to buy “investments” and other things to continue making money. The faster you click, the more money you are able to make. However, the investments continue whether you are clicking or not as long as you are on the application.
There is also a money multiplier where you are playing a variation of Candy Crush, and if you complete the level, you get to double your money as you are risking all the available cash that you have. It is a fun app to just click on to just press the screen a bunch of times.
Nonogram
This might be a personal preference, but I really enjoy puzzle games that make me think when just sitting on my phone. Otherwise, I feel like I am just doing absolutely nothing. Nonogram is an app I find myself playing regularly, as it is fun and challenging at the same time.
For those of you that are unfamiliar with Nonograms, it is a number puzzle that you have to figure out. The board is a 10×10 square, and each row and column has numbers. For example, say the first row has “4 5” it would mean there would be four consecutive squares that need to be colored in and then five in a row. On a 10×10 board, you would touch the first four squares and the final five to complete that row, and it would eventually come out to an image. They have challenges and daily puzzles to keep your mind at work, as well as the option to go back a few years and work on daily puzzles whenever you want.
Flow Free
The final app we are going to talk about is an app called Flow Free on the Apple or Google Play Store. The game is simple as there are two dots on a board of the same color with a handful of different color dots on the board. The objective is to get every single dot to connect without intersecting one another, as well as filling every square on the board.
The puzzles go from 5×5 boards to 10×10 boards originally, but there are a bunch of different puzzles with thousands of different levels for you to play and never get bored of playing. There are also 1,920 premium levels that are available for sale, but you have to play a long time to finish all of the free levels as well.
Conclusion
There are hundreds of thousands of entertaining free applications when you have some downtime to just sit on your phone and have some fun. These are just a few apps that I enjoy and play daily on my phone but tell us what some of your favorites are so we can all have some games to play whenever we get bored and don’t just scroll through Netflix for the thousandth time.
